The rationale of treatment is to temporarily weaken the muscles in these areas that pull on the skin. The effects last from 3-6 months. The time between injections becomes longer as the muscle is made weaker with non-useage.
The treatment is a prescription only medicine (PoM) that must be prescribed by a doctor and requires specialist cosmetic training to administer.
The injections are carried out using the finest of needles. The results come on within 2 to 14 days.
